Insurance Requirements / Standards for Locks

Insurance company requirements will vary, but the outline below is a typical definition of what you might be asked to conform to by your insurance company. This covers the types of locks you should have installed on all exit doors and accessible windows. If any doors and/or windows fail to meet these standards you may not be fully covered in the event of an Insurance claim.
